ANSWER: Not likely, and in many places you'll have some problem cashing them. Small places are geared up- for American dollars but get all boggled when you hand them Canadian. If you are visiting the British Isles, it’s a good idea to take some cheques in pounds. I’ve found that they will take these right at the cashier, where you have to _take any other currency to the main store office. | If you are cashing travellers’ cheques, do it ata bank if possible. When touring London, be sure to buy a copy of a magazine, published every Friday, called “In London”.
