NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City
of North Vancouver, pursuant to Section 703 of the
Municipal Act of British Columbia, that a Public
Hearing with respect to _ proposed By-law No. 5005 will
take place on Monday, the 30th day of May, 1977, at
7:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
141 West 14th Street. North Vancouver, B.C.

The intent of the proposed By-iaw is for

the purpose of amending the ‘‘Zoning By-law, 1967”
as follows: |

To provide in the ‘‘Zoning By-law, 1967"' a
new industrial zone to be designated as
**M-2A Heavy Industrial Zone,’’ in which
shall be permitted, subject to certain
conditions, a grain elevator use in addition
to the uses outlined in the said Zoning
By-law tor industrial zones.

2. To rezone a_ portion of those lands
' presently zoned M-2 on the. City’s
waterfront to the M-2A Zone, which said
lands are situated south of the Canadian .
: National Railway right-of-way and extend- ot
\ ing east of a proposed line between St. a
Patricks and St. Davids Avenues to a
proposed line between St. Davids and a
Ridgeway Avenues; and east of a proposed E

line between Ridgeway and Moody
Avenues to a proposed line south of the e
. south end of Sutherland Avenue. a

: At the said Hearing all persons who deem
nf their interest in property affected by the proposed

amendments to the ‘*Zoning By-law, 1967°" shall be
afforded an opportunity to be heard.

A copy of the proposed amending by-law
incorporating the above amendments will be available
for public inspection after Tuesday, May 24th, 1977,
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each
