AN employee was
charged with break,
enter and theft at
Speedy Auto Glass in
West Vancouver on
Sunday.

According to a West
Vancouver Police spokes-
man, a resident called police
after seeing a man leave
through the store's back
door in 1500-block of Clyde
Avenue at 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The caller said the man
was carrving a bag.

The man left the business
without closing the back
door.

West Vancouver Police
sct up roadblocks.

A police spokesman said a
suspect was arrested 11 min-
utes later on the Trans-
Canada Highway.

Police seized $300 cash
and computer items alleged-
ly taken from the store

Thomas Anthony Pryce,
26, of Richmond, was
charged with break, enter
and theft in connection with
the incident.

Police say Pryce was
employed by the Speedy
Auto Glass outlet.

He was on extended sick
leave at the time of the
alleged crime.
