Alpine garden club
holds annual sale

WILLIAM GRIFFIN. Community
Centre Gym in North Vancouver
will be the site of a plant sale with
a difference Sunday.

The Alpine Garden Club of B.C.
will be selling plants grown by its
members at its Annual Spring
Plant Sale, May 1.

The. club’s objective is to pro-
mote the growing, propagation
and display of native plants, plants
suitable for the alpine garden and
rare species of hardy plants, trees,
shrubs and ferns. Many of these
rare plants — some unavailable at
nurseries — will be sold at the sale.

to advise buyers on the correct

The sale will be held from 2 to 5
p.m, William Griffin Community
Centre. Gym is located at 851 W.
