They have been taken over and despoiled by hordes of noisy children and their selfish, inconsiderate parents. .Shopping has become something of a nightmare, as unattended children dash out in front of one, in their wild, blind race through crowded stores. The rest of us wonder what on earth we've done to deserve it all and leave as quickly as possible. Mall administration have been dragging their feet far too long on this issue, afraid lest they alienate the parents and lose their shopping dollars. This myopic attitude prevents them from seeing just how much money they lose from other shoppers, like myself, who are finding it impossible to shop in the current state of bedlam. To salvage this lost revenue they can do one of three things: 1. Permit children in the mall, during morning hours only. (I’m appalled at the number of babies and tod- diers being dragged through busy stores in the evenings. Surely, they should be in bed at that ume of day!) for centre extend my most heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of the Lionsview staff who have dedicated themselves to giving children such as my son hope when other experts decided that there was none. There is not enough space in this entire newspaper to describe the depths of my feelings for these individuals who have lifted the limitations from my son's life as well as my own. can only request to anyone who has an influence in the maintaining and fun- ding of this program that they continue to understand and recognize the importance of such special schooling for children with development delays.
