Hospital board of directors at this year’s election.
But residents can still not afford to ignore the
annual election in September, hospital officials

With four board members
seeking reelection, a pro-life

dominated return would
bring the number of
members in disagreement

with the hospital’s policy on
abortion, in addition to the
three already on the board,
to seven.

And while seven will not
constitute a majority on the
17 member board, the
possibility of that many pro-
lifers winning seats is enough
for hospital officials to urge
residents to attend the Sept-
ember 2 meeting.

last year that North Shore
residents demonstrate their
