born on Jan.5, 1898 in Scotland. The long-
time West Van resident worked as a
ladies’ maid for the Woodward family. Nan
will celebrate her birthday with family and
friends at Cedarview Lodge. “A wee drink
of Scotch keeps me going,” she says.
