ING tomorrow’s
municipal elections,
number crunchers at
-all three North Shore
municipalities are
holding their breath
as they await the
specifics of the
impending provincial
funding cuts to local
government.

Last week Finance
Minister Andrew Petter
made the vaguely” .
phrased announcement
as part of a package of
cuts introduced by. the
financially strapped NDP
government. Details of
the extent of the cuts
will be released “in the
wecks to come.” ..

any specific plans,

said some plans are being
developed at the city, but
