To Sunday, Nov. 24: Deep Cove artist and playwright David MacLean — opens About Face, his exhibition of paintings and drawings with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. The focus is on the face. Featured work will show his award-winning editorial cartoons, his posters and the originals used for the Fringe Festival, and mixed-media large can- vases portraying — facial masks. During the opening reception a short perfor- mance will be given to high- light the Jaunch of his new book, The Sound of Whales. WEDNESDAY, NOV. 27: Cornucopia of Creative Gifts opens with a preview for members and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The gallery's annual juried sale of original art and craftwork by B.C. artists features works in clay, wood, fibre, glass, paintings, cards, jew- elry and festive decorations. Refreshments will be served. Members receive a 10%: discount on purchases that evening.
