The former residents of West Vancouver were married in Pore Arthur
Ontario, on Oct 27th 1925. James, a baker by trade, was bom in London,
England and came to Canade in 1919 after serving with the British Army in
France during WW, Susan ivas alse born in England bur ac age two moved
tw Canada with her family, settling in Port Arthur. (Now Thunder Bay).

Upon their marriage the Burtons moved to Ottawa where they raised three.
children, Preda’Murray of Edmonton, Alta., James of Merrickville, One., and
Thoraas of Osayous, B.C. They now have 9 grandchildren and 6 great grand:
children, In 1957 they came to B.C, settling in Vancouver's West End but’}}
in 1968 they moved to West Vancouver where they resided until their recent
