of volunteer opportunities that are
currently available through North
Shore Community Services
(NSCS),

Volunteer drivers are needed
to take mentally handicapped peo-
ple to a support group meeting
Wednesday evenings.

Drivers are needed only from
about 6 to 6:30 p.m. Transporta-
tion is not needed for the return
trip.

Christmas Day volunteers are
needed by an organization that is
planning a special Christmas din-
ner. Volunteers will help prepare
and serve the meal.

Some help ts also needed
Christmas Eve day.

Bridge hosts/hostesses are
needed by a seniors’ care facili
to help organize bridge games.
The volunteer may be asked to
play from time to time.

A youth centre on the North
Shore needs volunteers to assist
with a drop-in program for youths
aged 12 to 18.
