VALLEY CHIPMUNK Viascot solves mall mystery AN IMAG INATIVE publicity campaign launched’ April 11 by the people. at Lynn Vatiey Centre culmi- nated Saturday in the arrival of the mall’s first mascot. A six-foot chipmunk popped out of a large tree which had grown over the past few weeks in the cen- ise of the mall cosnmon area. The tree began as a mysterious mound of dirt and bruken flocr tiles. -As_ the ‘tree began to grow, passers-by were treated to strange scratching sounds emanating from inside the tree.
