Then this workshop is for you. The first Grammar Crammer Workshop will be held Saturday, Nov, 14 at Carson Graham School in North Vancouver. The one-day workshop, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is designed for in- dividuals who wish to upgrade their grammatical skills. Conducting the workshop is Scot Hall, of Grammatically Yours, who does in-house seminars for corporate clients. She is now beginning a series of workshops for people who need to brush up on their own abilities in the mechanical areas of speaking and writing properly. Food additives investigated IT HAS been estimated that be- tween 100 and 200 million pounds of food additives, or about six pounds per person, are used in Canada every year. The Allergy Information Association (AIA) will be looking at food additives and ingredients- listing regulations at a public sem- inar Saturday, Nov. 21 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. Guest speakers will be Susan Daglish, national executive direc- tor of the AIA; allergist Dr. D.F. Stark; Dr. Gail Bellward, pro- fessor of pharmacology, UBC; a government representative from Consumer and Corporate Affairs Biues meet National Team West THE CAPILANO College Blues men’s soccer team meets the National Team West Nov. 14 at Kinsman Stadium in a benefit exhibition game, and young soccer players are being encouraged to come out and watch the action. ‘It’s a chance for the younger kids to come out and watch some of the best soccer players,” explained Capilano coach Joe lacobellis.
