The past week, [| attended a dinner at their home. When my husband and J arrived, our hostess was already tight; and by the time the fish course was served, she had sassed out, dead drunk, and had to be carried upstairs. [ learned later that it was not the first time this miss {can ecither cancel the pala nor reschedule it, nor can 1 afford to have Mrs. X ruin it with her unseemly behavior.
