Members of nudist clubs are automatically welcome at other nudist clubs across North America, Hawaii and Europe as overnight campers. Many nudist camps are within a short drive of major tourist attractions. Just 11 miles out of Seattle there is a 370 acre nudist camp with a seven acre lake, complete with free canoes. Depending on the facilities of a given club, guests are charged from $4 to $20 a night. A fairly primitive camp in Hawaii charges $10 a night. “My wife made a deal with me,” says Dave. “I'll spend * j two weeks at the nudist club in Hawaii. If I like it, TU join Van Tan. Concerned over birth Parents for Positive Beginnings is a group of concerned parents that was formed on the North Shore in the Spring of this year. The group originally met to discuss their birthing and post-partum expericaces with Lions Gate Hospital. It was a time of sharing their likes and dislikes about their experiences. As the meetings progressed they included case room nursce- midwives, maternity and casual nurses, public health nurses and staff, general practitioners, obstetricians. and pediatricians. Through these mectngs great interest has becn generated with positive results in the following arcas: a clearer un- derstanding of what and what is not hospital policy, how the hospital ts mecting RNEYNOLOS Gabiner Shop the public needs. doctors and nurses voicing their opinions, childbirth educators and the Public Health Department being more informed to help the expectant parents. The group has grown to be respected amongst the hospital administration and staff, health care professionals and the public. The activities of the group and the hospitals and the various groups throughout the Lower Mainland and the Northwestern United States. The group prepared a questionnaire and is secking information from parents and health care professionals who are interested in changing policies in ob- stetrical care and having input into the future Ob- stetrical Wing renovations.
