The committee, consisting of three members of the Hollyburn Ridge Association and three aldermen, chaired by Ald. Don Lanskail, had originally sent its report to council in May 1976—since when it has been studied by staff. Recommendations in the report included the follow- _ ing: -*No motorized vehicles to be permitted on the Ridge. — *No ‘restaurants, lunch counters, stores or chalets to be. permitted, although. the Westlake Lodge facility would continue to operate. "The area outside the present .9 acre and 2-acre cabin zones to be zoned as a §-acre cabin area. ' *Present cabin ownets to | be given a five-year tenure. *The hours of the muni- © cipal ranger to be reorgan- ized so as to restore ‘patrolling and inspection on.
