It was the grand re-opening of the Cartoon Corner Art Gallery. They have the most beautiful limited edition cels on their walls — Bambi, Snow Whiie, Pinocchio — all part of the famed Disney Travelling Show with the Best of Disney Classic Animations. The prices of these rare animated cels ranged up to $10,000. They are incredible. Three daring entrepreneurs — Philip Eng, Richard Wiebe and broadcaster, TV producer, noted emcee and magician Rick Honey — have joined together in this ex- citing new venture on Granville Island and Robson Street. There were lots of notables at the opening last Thursday night, like Ray and Grace McCarthy, Zelma and Morrie Charkow, Kay and Peter Legge and their daugh- ter Samantha, Dee Webster and Greg Douglas ... even Herb Capozzi, who showed up in his jeans. Edelweiss Catering supplied the tasty goodies and the Six-Of-Us dixielanders entertained.
