families awaits at Waterfront

There will be kite decorating,
a car show, a martial arts demon-
stration, a hair cut-a-thon, a dog
agility and obstacle course
demonstration and much more
fun for everyone.

The martial arts demonstra-
tion, presented by the students
and instructors of the North
Vancouver Recreation Commis-
sion, will feature seven different
martial art disciplines — from the
gentle art of Tai Chi Chuan to the
bourd-breaking techniques of Tae
Kwan Do and Karate.

$10 donation. you can get him a
fabulous cut from one of North
Vancouver's top stylists and help
support the Wild Bird Trust of
B.C.

This cut-a-thon is part of their
fundraising campaign for the cre-
ation of a wildlife sanctuary at
Maplewood Flats.
