Take your time while shopping, go with a few -hours to spend, and take the right attitude. with you. The best times to shop are from opening until 11 a.m. and from 2:30 o.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednes- days, hours. Keep a list of what you shouid ‘ be looking for, pieces that you need to fill out your wardrobe. Shop in a variety of boutiques, even those that carry items thai you normally cannot = afford: - Especially in this low-profit year, a sale may bring prices down to an affordabie level. Compare while you shop. The words “up to” are often very misleading and do not include most items on the rack. Also, if you cannot find your size at one outlet, inquire whether the store has another location. Sometimes stores have other loca- tions which operate under a dif- | ferent name, but carry some of » and reduce their original’ as these are non-peak . the same merchandise. Do not assume everything is a good deal. Trash and treasure will often be sharing the same rack or sales table. : QUALITY LASTS . You get what you pay for, and usualiy, but not always, that means quality comes at a high price. Lesser quality garments tend to looked tired and slightly worn after one or two washings. Buy the best quality that you can afford..
