SIKH RCMP officers will soon be able to trade in the
standard-issue hat for specially designed force turbans.
The RCMP say they are adapting to the changing cul-
tural makeup of Canada and te do this they need to
recruit members of visible minorities in numbers com-

mensurate with the population. However, the turban
decision has comie under fire for changing the face of a
distinctly Canadian iradition: the mounted police. In-
quiring reporter asks people how they feel about the
RCMP uniform modification.
