what my detractors call a

“workaholic”. They don't
seem. able to believe me
when I say that is the way I
WANT to be. I work long
hours at work and at home
and, even during my
vacations, I take along work
that I can do while away. I
am not obsessed with work, I
just like it. Doesn't it make
sense that while my friends
are wasting time watching
hockey games (which they

say they fike) I am happy

about: working at something?
I am finding it very difficult
to understand why people
think I am losing out. | don’t

. small-talk, , don't like:

e ~secial events, I don't like
TV, I don't like sports, I

don’t like a whole lot of
things that other people
waste time at.

I tike working. People-

keep saying to me, “You
don’t have any fun”, but I say
I have more fun than they do
as they go through their
continual search for things
to do that will be “fan” for
them. Is that. so diffiuch to
understand? ;

I wish people would give
up on thinking there is
something wrong with me
and just let me enjoy my
own kind of fun — working.
