(ITerry Peters photo) Tourney sy underway The William Angus Soccer tournament is un- derway this weekend at Kinsmen stadium in North Vancouver. A total of eight teams from the Vancouver Metropolitan Soccer League are taking part in the three day event which began Saturday and will continue with runner-up and final games tomorrow. Norvan Soccer Club, recently promoted to premier play, are sponsors of the 25 year old event which is the traditional kick off to soccer action for the season. Sunday games begin at 10 a.m. and run through four contests while the con- solation final will get un- derway Sunday at 1 p.m. followed by the final at 3 p-m. Summer Games wound up last weekend in the Comox Valley and Games Chairman Ron Butlin said he plans to call for bids at the end of the year, for the summer games in 1984 and 1985, and the winter games in 1984. “We've had a number of inquiries from people on the North Shore,” Butiin said.
