The community arts council is
asking supporters of the foundry
and its resident artists to write lei-

Harman, who donated his time
two years ago to cast the statue of
Walter Draycott that sits at the
corner of Lynn Valley Road and
Mountain Highway, is currently
working on casting Bill Reid’s
Mythic Messengers, which is being
sent to the national museum in Ot-
tawa, Harman is the sculptor and
caster of such well-known Van-
couver landmarks as The Family in
front of the Pacific Press building
