This summer a change will come
over the Ambleside area, as Phase
I of the $3.2 million scheme un-
folds.

Bill Irwin of the Ambleside
Merchants Assoc. is . enthusiastic
about the plans, which will begin
with a complete rebuilding of
Marine Drive, from 13th to 19th,
giving it new character. In
response to the people who ex-
pressed dislike for interlocking
pink pavers, Irwin said it was
decided that a new six-foot-wide
concrete sidewalk would be laid,
with a three-foot red brick band
along the street.
