FOCUS: Wrestling is one of the oldest Olympic sports and is also one of the fastest growing female high schcol sports in British Columbia. More importantly, wrestting heips to develop personal confidence and contributes to the self-esteem of athletes of all ages. This week-long camp will reinforce athletes with the main components of fitness (cardio-vascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility). Activities will involve combative games to supplement techniques ‘earned. All athletes will train and practice with others of similar gender, weight and ability whenever possible. Outstanding participants will receive an invitation to train and compete with a high school all-star team from Ohio during the following week.
