GLASS artists Joy Jubenvill and
Brock Craig exhibit what else but
new work in their joint show Nu
Werk, which opened Wednesday at
the Seymour Art Gallery.

The artists explore varied techniques and
applications in glass making.

Jubenvill’s art extends to silver-accented
handblown glass perfume bortles, firsed-glass
bowls and etched glass candle lamps and glass
bead jewelry. Craig adds to his oeuvre of
fused-glass sushi platters and sand-blasted
bow! Is, tile compositions and vitreographs.

His vitrcographs, like photographs etched
on glass, are available by commission, and
offer the purchaser the opportunity to have
their image immortalized in art.

Craig and Jubenvill present a slide show of
their work Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m. at the gallery,
4360 Gallant Ave. in Deep Cove. Admission
is by donation, $2 suggested.

Jubenvill will also Toad a day-long session
in glass bead-making. Her hot glass workshop -

is Sept. 27, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost is $150, including sup-
plies. The session is limited
to six participants. To
reserve, call 924-1378. The
show continues to Sept. 30.
