Heaven comes to NV

MOODYNIELE THEATRE Com-
pany is stawing its second play.
Harty Segall’s comedy-tantasy
Heaven Can Wait, at North Van-
couver’s Centennial Theatre.

The play, upon which the well
known movie starring Warren
Beatty is based, opens Jan. 25 and
runs for three days.

Directed by North Vancouver
resident Don Williams, the cast of
Heaven Can Wait includes actors
Mark Bennett as Joe Pendleton,
North Shore actors Michael North
as Mr. Jordan and Debra McKay as
Julia Farnsworth and Gary Banks
as Max Levene.

Williams, who directed the com-
pany's first: play. Silent) Night,
Lonely Night at Anne Macdonald
Hall in December.

“This play (Heaven Can Wait)
will be our indicator as to whether
the North Shore wants to have a
local professional theatre com-
pany,” said Gary Banks,
