Break and enter, Entry forced
through basement window using
screwdriver. Every room ins the
house was disturbed. Stolen: stereo
unit. Sega game set, CDs, various
jewelry, 1S Coors beer cans. Value:
$6,000,

LOU-bIK, 24th St

Break and enter. Entry into lock-
er area gained using a key. Five
locks were cul using bolt cutters
leaving lockers open, Stolen: noth-
ing. Value: $50 damage.
2100-bik. Bellevue Ave.

Stolen auto, ‘91 yellow
Cabriolet stolen from underground
garage overnight. Entry most likely
gained by slashing roof as no glass
was found in the vicinity, Value:
$12,000.

§700-btk. Primrose Pl.

Break and enter, Entry gained via
pried open front door window.
Stolen: jewelry in two stained glass
boxes, three watches, Toshiba VCR.
Value: $8,000.

Feb. f

2900-blk. Marine Dr.

Break and enter. Entry gained
using a ladder to climb in through
the daughter's bedroom window.
Stolen: cash. Value: $50.
900-bik. Keith Rd.

Break and enter. Entry gained via
open .window. Every room in the
house was disturbed. Bags .were
stolen to haul out some of the goods.
Stolen: Sony stereo receiver and CD
player, Pioneer CD player and laser
disc, leather jacket and 80 CDs.

-Mr, Coles was a member of the

West Vancouver Pops. Band where -

he played tuba. In elementary and

high schools, Mr. Coles played for

the West Van Youth band.

Said Mr. .Coles’ sister, Laura
Wells, ‘‘He is going to be missed by
a lot ef people. He was a real model
for young people who wanted to
pursue their dreams involving music
or the outdoors.”

Mr. Coles lived in Gibsons when
he died, but had roots in West
Vancouver going back to his grand-
parents, Jack and Laurie Coles, who
were pioneers in West Vancouver.

Mr. Coles owned Coles Marine
Service: in Gibsons. He ran for the

_ Naneouve and raised in West. Vancouver. He attended “Gibsons mayoralty in the past election.

,” West Bay clementary, Hillside secondary and Vancouver
- Vocational School, where he studied diesel mechanics.
