(VAN) sells advertising and flyers for several community newspapers
covering the entire lower mainland from’ Whistler to Chilliwack.

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead our sales and
marketing efforts. This is a new position, reporting to the Vice
President of Newspaper Operations. Some of the responsibilities

include:

° direct our national sales and marketing program
* establish sales targets and ensure those targets are met
develop new revenue streams
* develop a co-op advertising program
* establish ongoing communication with VAN publishers and
sales managers.
You have a proven track record in newspaper sales and marketing.
Ideally, you've had experience working in a group environment.
