(A 26-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver woman has been ordered to
i stand trial in Vancouver ccunty court on charges of attempted
: murder and aggravated assault.

Shelley Dartene Spence was originally charged in connection with -

an April 9 incident, in which Norman James Ready was allegedly
attacked with alknife and stabbed.

The 47-year-old man was subsequently taken to Lions Gute
Hospital suffering from Stab wounds to the chest and upper ab-
_domen: ”

’; Appearing before Judge J.D. Layton, Spence was ordered to
: faa trial on the charges and elected te be tried by a judge and
jury.

No trial date had been set to press time.
