Weir repair and upgrade preject mid-August to mid-October 2000 month the Greater Vancouver Regional District will begin to upgrade and reinforce the weir at the Capilano Fish Hatchery in Capilano River Regional Park. The weir is a 3.5-metre-high concrete structure that guides fish into the hatchery. Visitors please note that until mid- October, there will be 14 fewer parking spaces available, including - four spaces for disabled persons. These four spaces will be moved to our service vehicle parking area. Please drop off and pick up dis- abled visitors at the hatchery entrance. Tour bus operators please note that the hatchery turnaround for buses may be closed at times, however, an alternative turnaround will be provided.
