Born in Buenos Aires and schooled in) Rhodesia and Angola, Leibman studied fash- ion design in South Africa in the “60s. Five years of studies in ceramics were to follow before Leibman opened her own fash- ion design studio, speciahzing in high-end leather and wool garments. Her leather-look handbags combine her two passions. Before moving to North Van seven vears ago, she exhibited them in the National Gallery in Cape Town and Johannesburg Art Gallery.
