players.

The annual chance to test your compet-
itive meutle is upon us us registration for
the [2th © Annual West Vancouver
Community Tennis Tournament continues
this week. Deadline for entry is 5 p.m. on
Friday.

This year's tournament takes place on
public courts throughout West Vancouver
from Aug. 3 through Aug. 10.

and doubles. the draw includes adult
events from “Open” class — the hotshots
-~ to “X" class for the beginners looking
for their first tournament experience,

Also, age groups run from Under-12 to
65+ for men's singles and 554 for
women’s singles,

Tournament fees ure as follows:
¢ Juniors — singles, $17; doubles, $18
« Adults — singles $23; doubles, $25
(Doubles’ fee is per team).

Visa and Mastercard entries may be
phoned in to 925-7250, or faxed in to 925-
5949. Entries can also he dropped off at
the West Vancouver recreation centre at
786 22nd, St.

The draw will be posted on Thursday.
Aug. | at 5 p.m. at tournament headquar-
ters at the West Vancouver Arena.
