Hurricanes hit charter yachts

this month when his charter
yachts operating in the British

Virgin Islands were caught in ~

- two hurricanes.

Virgin Islands. King eventually sent

was secured by three anchors, the

attempt to keep the ship away from
the beach, but violent and shifting
gusts made it impossible as snapped
anchor lines from other boats caught
in the storm caught Latina’s pro-
peller and stalled the engine.

“The rain was stinging so hard ~

that- we had to dodge behind things
and wear snorkel masks in order to

look into the direction of the wind,” ~

he said. -
