Recognizing the need for a high-performance snow tire that operates without studs, Toyo Tire Canada hus announced the release of their Observe G-03 model snow tire, available this fall. “Consumers have been ask- ing for a durable, high perfor- mance tire that defeats the snow and ice,‘but also makes the grade on pavement,” says Toyo Tire National Sales Manager Bruce Bridgman. “The Observe G-03 delivers on all those counts.” The tire features Microbite technology, an innovation that is part of the next generation of winter tires. It has a unique Canadian tread compound that will retain long-term traction capability, and thousands of traction sipes to allow the tire to grip ice and packed snow with- out studs, The new directional tread pattern also separates this tire from other heavy winter snow tires, in that it enhances stability on dry pavement while still allowing for opumuns winter performance. “For those look- ing for a competitively priced, strong winter Ure for their high performance car, this is a great breakthrough.” Toyo Tire manufactures a full dine of premium grade tires for passenger cars, trucks, huses, earth movers and all mining vehicles.
