engine in its class, standard dual
airbags, roomy cabin, fantastic han-
dling, surprisingly low price, and a
cute style that's almost irresistible.
the Neon deserves to be called the
best small car America has intro-
duced.

Taking advantage of the Neon’s
incandescent publicity, Chrysler
showed off a trio of unique, onc-
and-only concept cars at the recent
International Auto Show in Detroit.

While all of them are mechani-
cally based on the production Neon
sedan, none of them look like the

Neon because of the extensive exte-

rior and interior changes that were
made in converting the Neon into
three different vehicles.

Even though Chrysler has not
disclosed any plans to produce
these cars in the future, we can bet
that some of the design ideas will
end up in a production car.

three Neon-based concept vehicles:
