Better known to North Shore residents as Bruce Jordan, Koo- Koo left North Vancouver in 1961 to seek his fortune as a clown and magician in California. He subsequently clowned his way into Californian hearts and’ was picked up by’ the Ringling Brothers circus. On May 13, Koo-Koo- will ap: pear at his former elementary school. The performance at Highlands Community School will begin at 6:30 p.m. Highlands’ school coordinator , Jim McDuffie said the show is all the former student’s idea. . ‘He wrote to us saying he would be in town to perform at Expo and suggested he give a show at his old school,”"McDuffie said.
