Van gets new finance director WEST Vancouver Mayor Pat Boname recently announced the appointment of Richard Laing to the pesition of director of finance and chief financial officer for the municipality. _ The 52-year-old chartered accountant brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role with the municipality, most recently. as treasurer/director of finance for the City of New Westminster. “We are pleased that Mr. Laing has accepted this chal- lenging role with our munici- pality,” Mayor Boname explained, “His appointment follows an extensive search .
