of recent North Shore
emergency incidents:

NORTH VANCOUVER
RCMP

August 4

1, 1900-bik. Purcell Way
Police were called by a 42-
year-old woman who had
been assaulted by her 55-
year-old husband. The man
was arrested and taken into
custody, then charged with
assault.

2. 16th & Lonsdale

Police called - 22-year-old
male had been assaulted by
another male. Patrols of
area led to the arrest of 3
male suspect, 16 years of
age. Police alsu seized a
canister of dog repellant.

August 12
3. Bridgman Park area
RCMP cruiser hit several
times by what appears to be
pellets. Officer got out to
investigate and car and road
were hit several more times.
Police dog search of area stolen vehicle. Male suspect
negative. Police have a sus- pulled into MacDonald’s
pect. parking lot. A well-known
North Vancouver criminal
August 15 was arrested. 1982 Toyota
4. 21st & Lonsdale Tercel was stolen from
RCMP officers spotted Vancouver.
