which carriers are asked to submit
staries of poems relating to
Christmas newspaper delivery.

of Christmas

On the first Wednesday of

Christmas,

My carrier gave to me,

A paper in ny mailbox.

On the first Friday of Christmas

My carrier gave to me,

Two cereal samples and

A paper in my mailbox.

On the first Sunday of Christmas,

My carrier gave to me,

Three coupon flyers.

Two cereal samples and

A paper in my mailbox.

On the last Sunday of

Christmas

My carrier gave 10 me,

Twelve turkey advertisements,

Eleven packs of detergent,

Ten cans of conditio

Nine flyers in counting,

Eight boxes of shampoo,

Seven apparel flyers,

Six paper inserts,

Five real estate papers,

Four sample chocolates,

Three coupon flyers,

Two cereal samples and

A paper in my inailbox,

Last Christmas Eve, on a cold
windy day, of course it was my
pauper route day,

I was not feeling too well when
1 started, and I grumbled some,
but out | went into the dark pull-
ing my blue wagon behind me.

| had gone about 20 houses
when out of the dark behind me
came alight.
