SmarTatk is a three-line, eight station telephone system offering a2 complete range of basic and ad- vanced features to the small business user. Designed and de- veloped in DBA’s North Van- couver office, SmarTalk is now sold in over 20 countries around the world. Expanding their export- market base is a major thrust of the company’s overall corporate strategy. . Full approval to. market. Smar- Talk in Australia was received after a very detailed technical analysis of the product at the Brit- ish Standards Justitute in England. Australian regulations require strict compliance with Technical Standards before permission to connect equipment to the national telephone network is granted. DBA president David Bensted believes the market cutlook for SmarTalx in Australia is very pos- itive. We’re not taking a negative view- point at all.”” HEWS photo Neil Lucente TAKING PART in a recent 24-hour demonstration of communication preparedness are (left to right) Chris Youngson, Dave Shipman and Ed Frazer.
