Study philosophy at Cap College CAPILANO COLLEGE is offer- ing two new philosophy courses this fall: the Philosophy of Culture, which asks the age-old question: ‘“What is art?” and the Philosophy and Law, which is modelied after Simon Fraser Uni- versity’s Criminology 131/135. Both courses, taught by two outspoken members of Van- coaver’s literary and political communities, have spaces for the September term. In Philosophy and Law the topic wili be Canada’s Criminal justice system. “‘We’re interested in no- tions of guilt and innocence and concepts of social order,’’ says Dixon.
