This summer the young musicians will be immersed in music spanning four centuries, from the Baroque to today’s leading Canadian - composers. The National Youth Orchestra training includes an_ intensive program of workshops, lectures and chamber music to enhance the acquisition of orchestral skills. During the course of this summer's seven week training period in the Province of Ontario, the orchestra will present several public concerts and a number of workshops.
