Adams says, ‘‘There are so
many times patients come in,
worried that they may have
misinterpreted or
misunderstood something
the doctor has said."’

Adams is marred to a
doctor, a general practi-
toner who also works in
North Vancouver, and he
has had some insights which
helped the ladies get their
service underway

‘Often patients are anx-
ious about the = doctor’s
visit,’’ Sharon says. ‘‘so they
don’t always remember all
the doctor said, or unders-
tand it. With written litera-
ture, they can take it and
read at their own time, and
go back and refer to it."’
