The show and sale continuing through June to July 16 is sponsored by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council. The 25 framed rubbings in the show are reproductions of original petroglyphb carvings which Bentley uncovered on a 10-acre site on Gabriola Island. Petroglyphs are mysterious native carvings done in stone and which stopped 200 years ago with the coming of the white man. The first petroglyph she discovered, a large mythical bird, is in the show, as well as a three-panel rubbing of a huge mythical serpent.
