Hustlers skate over Chiefs

IN ROUND {7 of North Shore
Industrial League hockey action,
the North Shore Hustlers downed
second-place Foster Chiefs, 4-2.

The Hustlers took the lead
halfway through the first period on
a power play goal by Kevin Kling,
and never looked back.

In the second period, riustiers’
Bob Cunnyworth scored their se-
cond goal, 17 seconds after killing
off Chiefs’ six-minute power play.

The third period started with the
Hustlers’ John Casano scoring
another powerplay goal.

Ken Hoodey scored the last goal
for the Hustlers with two minutes
left in the game. With one minute

goals by Scott Blaney and Mike
Day, but in a losing cause.

In other league games over the
weekend, the third place Raven
Rangers crept up to within one
point back of Foster Chiefs by
defeating Sailor Hagars Seamen

thrashed Westwood Honda 12-3
while the Coach House Flyers
strengthened their hold on the last
playoff spot by bouncing Lynn-
wood Chasers 6-3.
