WV pub attempt fails,
North Shore News, April 5.

Reading that story, 1 was
alternately amused — and
amazed at those people
around Dundarave.

Living in North Van as {
do, it pains me deeply to read
that those self- “righteous hyp-
ocrites of the nether regions
of “snob hill” consider us
North “Vanites” to be noth-
ing but a bunch of skulking
dopers and foreigners of

NV’s drug dealers as good as WV’s

questionable lineage and dis-
reputable character.

Fd like them to know that
our drug dealers and foreign-
ers are every bit as good as
their drug dealers and for-
eigners, even if not as rich
and well-organized.

Over here, we enjoy the
local neighbourhood pubs,
because we aren't as preten-
tious, nor rich enough to do
our hell-raising in other peo-
ple’s neighbourhoods, like
the folks in Dundarave do.
