Much has been said and written about the
RCMP and their roles in such things as APEC
and the Airbus Atfir, Most of it negative.

However, it disturbs me that rarely do we
hear of the good and worthwhile work this
truly Canadian institution carries out every dav
of the vear.

West Vancouver municipality is the meat in

The ferry corp. made it very clear ay the Oct.
5 council meeting that it doesn’t care about
community concerts and that itis bevond West
Vancouver's jusisdiction. A maintenance shop

across the street frem Gleneagles school,
three-storey parking lot, and retail space to
compete with Horseshoe Bay businesses; none
seem te faze the monolithic corporation.
