THE Greater. Vancouver Regional
District (GVRD) has a cure for sum-
mer fever: three days of jumpin’ fun.

“Tree Frog Kids” is the GVRD Parks
department's nature program for four- and
five-year-olds. The three-day adventure
begins July 24 at Capilano River Regional
Park. -

Youngsters will croak for tree frogs and
‘Jearn to see through their clever camou
flage as well as stalk shy winter wrens,

creek-side wildlife and insects made to
look larger than life through a 5 made 10 |

The program runs Wednesday through
Friday, 9:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $21
per child.

Advance registration is required. To
register with Visa or Mastercard, call
GVRD parks at 432-6359 between 8 a.m.
and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Insufficient
registration three days in advance will
result in program cancellation.
