Jack Davis M.L.A., North Vancouver Seymour Dear Editor: I was very pleased to read your letter to the North Shore News (May 12). lt is indeed rewarding to have recognition from a_ public representative of the role and the importance played by the teaching profession in our society. I have a con- cern, however, If, in fact, it is teachers who decide quali- ty, then why is it that as a Profession we have never been permitted to make any decisions which have in- fluenced that quality?
